Return & Refund Policy

At MyCabinetDirect, we aim for precision in every delivery. Because our products range from off-the-shelf hardware to custom-fabricated cabinetry, the following terms apply to all purchases made via our website.
1. Return Eligibility
Standard Stock Items: (e.g., standard handles, hinges, or ready-made organizers) may be returned within 7 days of receipt, provided they are unused, in original packaging, and in sellable condition.
Custom-Made / Made-to-Order Items: (e.g., custom-sized cabinet carcasses, spray-painted doors, or cut-to-size worktops) are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable once production has commenced.
Assembled/Installed Items: Any product that has been assembled or mounted to a wall/base is ineligible for return.
2. Damages and Defect Claims
We prioritize execution quality. Please inspect all items immediately upon delivery:
Reporting Window: Damages, missing parts, or manufacturing defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Evidence Required: Clear photos of the damaged item and the original packaging must be sent to our support team.
Resolution: For valid claims, we will provide a 1-to-1 replacement of the specific damaged part or component at no extra cost to the buyer.
3. Change of Mind & Cancellations
Pre-Production: Orders for custom items can only be cancelled within 24 hours of payment.
Restocking Fee: For returns of “Standard Stock Items” due to a change of mind, a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs and risks.
4. Refund Process
Approval: Once a return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Method: Approved refunds will be processed via original payment method or store credit, depending on the transaction type.
Timeline: Please allow 7 to 14 working days for the refund to reflect in your account, subject to bank processing times.
5. Assumptions & Exclusions
Natural variations in wood grain, color, and texture are inherent to cabinetry materials and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Reka Utama is not responsible for items damaged due to improper DIY installation or site conditions (e.g., high humidity or uneven flooring).
Execution Step for Reka Utama:
To minimize refund disputes, ensure that for all custom orders, the “Final Confirmation Drawing” is signed/acknowledged by the client before you move the order to “Production” status.
